My oil painting class has shown me a few things... First is that oil painting is NOT the evil, want-to-murder-you-with-difficulty process I thought it was.  Surprise surprise!  It's now tons more simple then acrylics in my book. Secondly, oil painting and painting in general is more fun then I thought it was and I'm better at it then I expected I was. Thirdly...the SECOND I choose science over art, I get into my first art show.  Go figure.  Now I have a picture {Photo-manipulation = My deviant ID} in one art show and a picture {Rust band river} and a drawing in another, a harder one to get into so I'm super excited over that.  For my photo

I have a series of pictures I will be slowly updating.  I have finished a few but not all of them so they will most likely be trickling in over the next week or more.  Basically, they'll show up whenever I get around to it ._. I've been partially inspired so I hope to be doing more photo shoots soon, more varied ones.  This one is mostly experimental but what can I say? I liked it :D

So be expecting a bunch of photos when I get back on Wednesday. You know...grand cliffs, remarkable waterfalls, and trees upon trees.  Hopefully I'll get a bit of the wildlife as well. It might not seem like much, or rather like we are playing hooky...but when you are this far burned out, as we are, every bit counts in the race to regain sanity and stability before we crack and things start getting ugly. Now Jared, before you even say it [and I know you are going to], we don't -always- go to fancy places.  This was just a fluke :D Ciao!
